Creating executive summaries of reports

You can export information from an entire report as an executive summary. An executive summary is a document in rich text format (RTF) that contains charts, tables, and basic information about a test run. You can then open the summary in a word processing program to further format and annotate the data.

Procedure

  1. To open a report, in the Test Navigator view, double-click a run.
  2. Complete one of the following steps:
    • Click Export Data > Create Executive Summary.
    • Right-click a graph and click Create Executive Summary.
  3. Specify the width and height of the exported chart in pixels and click OK.
  4. Specify where to save the executive summary.
