Setting custom and conditional report colors

You can customize the color of reports with or without using an expression. An expression uses a conditional statement to specify a color palette to match the given condition. You can use a condition to highlight a specific performance problem area. For example, if a value drops below 100, you can add a condition to turn the color of the counter to "red".

Procedure

  1. In the Test Navigator, expand the project until you locate the run. Each run begins with the name of the schedule or test, and ends with the date of the run in brackets.
  2. Double-click the run. The default report opens.
  3. Click the Add/Modify counter icon Add/Modify counter for the graph to customize.
  4. To customize the color of all counters in the graph, in the Graphic Color Palette field, click the Edit icon.
  5. Click Use a custom palette. The colors in the palette are applied automatically to each counter. You cannot map a color to a counter. You can add or change a color in the palette.
  6. Click OK.
  7. To customize the color palette of a specific counter, in the Counter Details table, in the Colors column for a counter, click the Edit icon Edit.
  8. Repeat steps 5 and 6.
