Interrupting a run

You can stop a test run before it is complete. For example, you might detect serious problems in the run and not want to wait for it to finish. When stopping the test run, you can choose to save the results and the test log of the run.

  1. During a test run, in the Performance Test Runs view, click Stop Test Run icon.
  2. In Timeout, type a number and select a time unit. If you are running HTTP tests and are interested in the results, you might select a duration that is long enough for a page to return.
  3. Optional: Select Collect Test Results and History to collect the results and the test log, which enable you to run the reports that evaluate the run.
  4. Optional: Clear the Execute Finally blocks check box to stop the execution of test in the Finally block when the test is stopped manually.
  5. Click OK.
